Board Of Directors
The Asia-Pacific FDI Network has an Executive Board made up of directors who are elected by members and serve for three years. These directors are specialized experts who use their collective wisdom, experience, diversity, and passion to guide and carry out the vision of the Asia-Pacific FDI Network.The Executive Board is responsible for implementing the strategic advice of the Advisory Board. They formulate policies for governing, managing, and operating the institution, as well as overseeing other tasks such as evaluating and approving budgets for the Network and Forum, and supervising the general management of the Network and Forum.
Executive Secretariat
The Network's Executive Secretariat is responsible for coordinating the work of the Board of Directors. Serving as the liaison between the Directors and Affiliated Experts, the Executive Secretariat is responsible for looking after the Network’s relationship and interactions with countries, private parties, and other stakeholders.
Advisory Board
The Advisory Board is made up of top experts from various countries who provide important advice to the Executive Board of the Asia-Pacific FDI Network. Their main role is to help improve the organization's governance structure. Additionally, the Advisory Board plays a key role in deciding the research topics for the Asia-Pacific FDI Forum series.
The Asia-Pacific FDI Network executive board is the operational board which works on implementation of the strategic advice that the Advisory Board has been given.
On the other hand, the functions of the Operational Board primarily are formulating policies for governance, operations and management of the institution with certain ancillary functions, including evaluation and approval of budgets of the Network and Forum and overseeing the general superintendence of the Network and Forum.
